Celebrate Women’s Month at Eden on the Bay

  |   Uncategorized   |   No comment

WE DON’T ONLY CELEBRATE WOMENS’ DAY ON THE 9THAUGUST!

WE RECOGNISE AND ENCOURAGE THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN EVERYDAY!

THIS YEAR, EDEN ON THE BAY MALL WILL BE DEDICATING THE ENTIRE MONTH OF AUGUST TO THE RECOGNITION OF STRONG WOMEN

IT’S WOMEN’S DAY AT EDEN ON THE BAY

HEY, THAT RHYMES – COINCIDENCE?  DEFINITELY NOT!

Eden on the Bay is without any doubt, the best location ever to enjoy the breath-taking views of the bay and Table Mountain. Understandably, this perfectly located leisure ground has fast become a firm favourite as a ‘go to’ place for thousands of tourists, who revel in the beauty of our world-renowned City of Cape Town.

Eden on the Bay simply has what it takes.

Whether a gourmet meal at one of many restaurants, an intimate romantic dinner, coffee with a friend, a picnic on our lush lawns or just relaxing whilst watching the surfers or people going by, we have it all and more! (And we are dog-friendly too).

An array of interesting shops and boutiques find visitors spending leisurely time browsing through trinkets and even doing monthly shopping, for those fortunate enough to live in or close-by to the luxurious Eden on the Bay accommodation.

This month, Eden on the Bay is excited not only about Women’s Day Celebrations on the 9th, but also about recognising the empowerment of women for the entire month of August!

We will also soon be sharing our fabulous specials for the month of August with you and at the same time, in line with our theme WOMEN EMPOWERING WOMEN, will be recognising our women entrepreneurs in the Mall, of whom there are many.

It was in 1971 yes, already 38 years ago, that Helen Reddy released her song “I AM WOMAN”.  Maybe a bit before all our time, or maybe not?  But all those years ago, she summed it up with the chorus which went like this:

“I am strong, I’m invincible, I am Woman”.   (Have a listen, we are sure it will ring a bell) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rptW7zOPX2E

Another one also springs to mind and probably one you will be more likely to remember due to your past karaoke antics, in which we will not be indulging here!

“I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor in 1978, a big favourite, especially on a girl’s night out!  Turn it up ladies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYkACVDFmeg

It just shows that the notion of women empowerment has been around for quite some time already and sadly only recently, has been given the recognition that it so deserves.

Being a strong and successful woman does not necessarily mean driving the latest sports car, or perfectly applied make-up, or wearing the most expensive bling-bling, and it is most certainly not because of those gorgeous stilettos.

Being a strong woman comes from within!  Facing the world with total self-confidence and creating a purpose, with or without the make-up and stilettos.  Bare feet work just as well when you embrace your inner self.

Whether a busy domesticated Home Executive, or the CEO of a multi-million Rand industry, women have an uncanny ability to lead!  They raise and nurture their children and even nurse ‘man flu’ with great results.

A few reminders about the Women in our lives:

  • They are intuitive
  • Accept failure and try again
  • Are emotionally connected
  • Good decision-makers
  • Conquer serious challenges
  • Beautiful, with or without makeup and stilettos

AND A WORD OF ‘ADVICE’:

  • They talk! They talk A LOT and they WILL be heard!

Eden on the Bay would like you to join us in celebrating all the women by acknowledging their worth in our lives.

We have plenty of spoils available for ‘her’, so head on over to Eden on the Bay and enjoy our beautiful location, Mall and amenities.

Visit our Facebook page for more details.

The empowered woman is powerful beyond measure and beautiful beyond description.
